Here’s a quick teaser about the 2-day install Lisa, Elish, and Brittany had in Watercolor, Florida earlier this week! Lisa’s design talent never ceases to amaze us! 🙂 Stay tuned for more pictures coming soon!
Our friend Linda over at The Lennoxx, a FABULOUS interiors blog, gave our store a really nice shout out not too long ago! She featured some pictures of our shop and gave us some very kind words. 🙂 Because of this post, we now have a new friend + client in the great state of California! So THANK YOU Linda!
You can view the full SummerHouse post here. Be sure to show The Lennoxx some love by leaving some nice comments! Here are a couple of the photos she featured:
Hey Meagan! (See her reflection in the mirror?!) Too funny!
Thanks again, Linda! Happy New Year to you and yours!
Marty and team revamped the showroom last week and we’ve been dying to show you photos!! Sorry it’s taken us a couple of days to get these up! Take not of all the fabulous rug benches, new upholstery, new art, new pillows… Pretty much new EVERYTHING! We’ve got so many beautiful photos to show you that we’re breaking them into two posts. Here is PART ONE… 🙂
Remember the beautiful home we showed you pictures of on Friday? (It is the blog post right before this one.) Well, here is the upstairs guest area of the house. It is fun, bright, colorful, and best of all, designed by Lisa Palmer!
This particular client fell in love with the bright green velvet of the Earl Chair, so the room was designed around that chair, as well as the items that this client already had. The bedding is by the oh-so-fabulous Ann Gish.
From one side of the jack-and-jill bathroom to the other… The art, the paint colors, and the beautiful tile countertops make these bathrooms very happy and welcoming!
If this room doesn’t make you happy then… Well…. It should!
We will have more from this beautiful home later this week. Rachel Kabukala took so many fabulous photos that it’s impossible to get them all into just one or two posts! Stay tuned!
Remember the behind the scenes pictures we posted earlier this week of Rachel Kabukala in action at our Eastbrooke client’s home? (You can see them here if you missed them.) Anyway, here are our favorite photos of this condo’s living room… We’ll show you more rooms next week! This is just a little teaser to get your weekend started off right! Enjoy!
If these pictures don’t make you happy, then…. We need to talk! Have a great, safe weekend and we’ll see you back next week!
GET EXCITED! Our Summer Sale is going on now! Up to 40% off of TONS of things in our beautiful showroom! Come in today, buy it today, take it home today! (Or have it delivered in the next few days!) We’ve got some incredible deals that you need to come in and see with your own eyes… Us telling you about these deals is not good enough!
We are so excited to have recently been published in Portico Jackson Magazine! You may remember this room from a Behind the Scenes post we shared a few weeks ago! We hope to get this amazing recognition added to our website soon (after we get better images, of course!) We hope you have as much fun looking at this room as we had creating it! Enjoy…
Marty worked hard all day yesterday getting the floor set up with all of our new stuff! We got in our first shipment of Hickory Chair and we are SO excited about it! It is all beautiful! We also got some new Ferguson Copeland, Mitchell Gold, and LEE! Check it out….
We wanted to share one of our favorite summer drink recipes with you, just in case you are looking for something a little different to take along to your Fourth of July cookout! Make enough to share, and you’re guaranteed to be the most popular one at the party! The BEST Margarita recipe:
1 can limeade concentrate
1 cup tequila
2 light beers
Lemon-lime soda to taste (about 1 or 2 cups)
1 or 2 limes, sliced
Mix all ingredients together in a pitcher, pour over ice, and enjoy!
This is the perfect drink to help you combat the hot Mississippi weather we’ve been battling! The lemon-lime soda is what gives this recipe a little extra zing; it is very crisp and refreshing. There are also lots of ways to vary this recipe to keep it exciting! You could use zero calorie soda to make it a little lighter, or lime flavored beer to make it extra limey. One time, we even used orange flavored beer, and cut up oranges instead of limes for a fun twist! Yum… ENJOY!
We have some big news! We are starting a blog series called Around Jackson, where we will feature our favorite places in the metro Jackson area! We will show you our favorite local shops, galleries, event spaces, restaurants, businesses and whatever else is interesting to us. Our sweet assistant, Katie, has agreed to be made into the SummerHouse version of Flat Stanley, and will be traveling to all of our local favorites with us! We are calling her Flat Katie, but that is ONLY because she has been made into a piece of cardboard attached to a stick. Nothing to do with her physical appearance! We love you Katie 🙂
Our first Around Jackson will be posted next week! Stay tuned!
