What a happy surprise to find Lisa quoted in a story on SouthernLiving.com about the secrets to Southern design! Lisa nailed it when talking about what makes Southern design so charming, hospitable, and interesting. We love her response– Mixing the old with the new is always beautiful!

  1. I just loved the March 2018 Traditional Home edition, the McGowan Home. Wow!
The new Southern Chic has been launched in 2018. Then I found out that Lisa Palmer was in our backyard. After a phone call to your firm with questions of what are the colors that was used on the walls. What color was the eggplant, it was not listed in the wonderful link that you sent to me. Can you add it or email that rich eggplant in the sunroom? Thank you for setting the new tone of our Southern Homes.

  2. Hey Madison! Thank you for commenting! The eggplant color was the existing color on the entire exterior of the home (which includes the sunroom) once we started designing, so that is the one color we don’t have! We are told it was a custom color. But we will try to get by there soon and match it as closely as we can to a color on a fan deck for you (and the others asking!) 🙂
