This past Sunday, we had a big staff appreciation party out at what we like to call “The Cabin!” (See the progress of Lisa’s project, The Cabin, here!)
All of us and our “plus ones” met at SummerHouse, loaded onto a little bus, and hit the road! The ride was filled with lots of laughs, good tunes on the radio, and…. a flat tire…
There was no spare tire on the bus, but luckily, we were only about five miles from The Cabin, so the folks who were already out there came to pick up the rest of us!
Once we arrived at The Cabin, the fun started right away! It could not have been a prettier day…
Because of the perfect weather, we were able to spend time playing yard games, riding four-wheelers, and lounging on the porches!
A stylin’ trio consisting of Brian Fuente, Max Palmer, and BC provided some fabulous tunes to carry the party from day into night. These three did an amazing job of entertaining and getting the dance party going! They even allowed a few of us to take over the mic for a song or two!
Throughout the day, we were noshing on some WONDERFUL fare from The Pig & Pint in Fondren. We had an entire pig, complimented with the most perfect sides…
…and we all ended the night with a hayride then s’mores by the fire.
All in all, it was a wonderful day that none of us will soon forget!
(P.S. Stay tuned for more photos of the inside of The Cabin! It is now complete and looking like a million bucks. Go ahead and start preparing yourselves for the gorgeousness!!)
